When you are scuba diving in Puerto Morelos, you are diving in the national park of Puerto Morelos. Here you can find the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. The national park does mean rules and regulations. We are doing our utmost to keep the reef healthy. A very important one is that it is not allowed to use any kind of sunblock when you go into the ocean in this area.
All the diving is done with certified guides who are allowed to work in this area. Beginners can dive in the shallow waters, where we have different dive sites. Some have lots of corals or swim throughs and others have more fish. And for the advanced divers there is a beautiful wreck, the Juan Escutia C-56. This is an old minesweeper, where spotted eagle rays love to hang around in the current and where you can find stingrays resting in the sand.
