Isla Contoy is a protected area since 1961 and in 1998 it was declared a National Park. Only 200 persons per day are allowed to visit this island. Just imagine, there are no houses, no sunbeds on the beach and there is no electricity. Nobody lives here only the animals. It is a bird sanctuary and turtles come to the beaches to lay their eggs. We can book this tour for you and you will visit 2 islands.

The boat will first take you to Isla Mujeres, here is a 1 hour stop. Then it is snorkel time, weather depending, at Ixlach reef or Meco, the national park of Contoy. And the rest of the day will be spent on Isla Contoy with a guided tour on the island. Free time, late lunch and more free time. After this it is time to go back to Cancun and your hotel.

There are no tours on Sundays.
